Our client, an automotive company based in Qatar, is currently seeking an Investment and Treasury Manager.
Treasury Functions (75%):
- Understands, manages, and supervises all aspects of cash flow.
- Forecasts daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions.
- Determines the company’s goals and risk tolerance.
- Determines the Company’s tax position and the applicability of taxable/non-taxable instruments.
- Assesses risk/return tradeoffs in guidelines.
- Assesses performance benchmarks and recommend changes when warranted.
- Reviews and recommends changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions.
- Prepares or monitors company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.
- Evaluates, develops and implements cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
- Manages appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
- Manages relationships with financial service providers.
- Monitors bank service fees and addresses quality issues.
- Recommends, implements and maintains process improvements.
- Negotiates Bilateral Facilities, syndication of loans, Bank funding.
Investment Functions (25%):
- Manages the investment appraisal process for potential investment businesses including performing financial analysis and an appropriate level of due diligence.
- Presents the investment appraisal to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
- Manages the investment process including liaising with legal advisors to create suitable investment agreements.
- Ensures that fund investments and returns are accurately and fully recorded.
- Compiles and prepares spreadsheets, reports, and analyses.
- Insures that alternative investments are safe through proper analysis.
