Reporting to the Finance Director, you will report on all financial and commercial matters including assistance in budgeting, forecasting and government contracts. The role’s responsibilities will also include overseeing financial accounting, management accounting, strategy, cash flow, and stock control for the specific regions. The individual will be responsible for producing financial statements, reconciling and analysing variances as well as reviewing detailed revenue and cost transactions. They will be expected to prepare and assist in general ledger entries, supervising systems postings and generally assist the senior management team as and when required. For this position, the company requires a qualified accountant, with a Government/Defense/FMCG or distribution background. You will ideally have previous supervisory experience, great attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication skills. You will display the ability to prioritise duties, meet deadlines and bring in process improvements.
